About the Role

Your role
As a production intern, you will play a role in maintaining and optimising the various
production processes at the site, such as:
• Participating in continuous improvement projects with the aim of increasing
productivity:
o Eliminate material losses (waste, overweight, non-conforming finished products,
etc.)
o Eliminate time losses (optimise changeover times between productions, identify
bottlenecks in the production process and make improvement proposals, develop
ideas to reduce workload)
• Reducing administrative workload by introducing digital systems (registrations, reporting, dashboards, mobile solutions, etc.).
• Observe and analyse current working methods together with employees in production,
then secure the most optimal working method in work instructions and keep them up to date.
• Data analysis of both process parameters and production results to identify improvement opportunities and monitor expected progress.
• Safety on the shop floor (adjusting and taking action in case of unsafe behaviour).
• Provide direct support to the production manager and production supervisors for various projects and tasks.

Requirements

  • You have a bachelor's/master's degree in (bio)engineering


  • You express yourself fluently in Dutch and English;


  • You are driven and flexible;


  • Analytical insight and solution-oriented;


  • Eye for detail;


  • You can plan and organise well;


  • You have insight into operational processes;


  • You have good communication skills.
