As a Process Engineer, you are responsible to discuss the business opportunities with operations. You will connect with vendors to stay informed about innovative equipment in the market, so you can advise operations about best practices. By applying the chemical design principles, you will provide the most effective, reliable, and safe solution to solve business challenges. The successful candidate will be a member of Dow's Process Engineering team which supports investment projects by leveraging engineering capabilities across Dow locations.
As Run Plant Engineer you will act as a technical resource for Operations, applying technical skills within Manage Production, to optimize plant operations, resolve plant problems, and enables safe and efficient production of low cost, quality products. You will assist work teams on daily operations and process performance so as to run a low cost, on specification, reliable, optimized operations, thereby maximizing value to the business in a safe environmentally friendly manner.
As an Improvement Engineer you identify opportunities for the business to optimize production, after which you are responsible for implementation and start-up. You lead the communications between other functions like (Process) Engineering, Maintenance, and Construction to make sure changes are implemented safely and reliable.
